Online feeders

LdyMrga Aug 24, 2004 08:46 AM

Hello!

I have been considering ordering crix online and wondered who everyone recommends and how their experience has been.
We have seen a huge growth in my family of leos (I have 2 at my house, my son has 3 at his father's house, and his aunt has 4 or 5 there as well). I am picking up 3 dozen small every few days just for mine!
Also, any suggestions on housing the feeders?

Thanks!

When you order online, keep in mind that cheapest does not equal the best. A lot of places out there are really bad about replacing orders if they arrive dead, may have sick/diseased feeders, and may even include spiders or other bugs with your order.

I recommend grubco.com and superwormfarm.com. I -don't- recommend fluker's or wormman.com. There are plenty more good places to order from, but I haven't tried that many. You should check the Board of Inquiry for any business' reputation on f a u n a c l a s s i f i e d s . c o m.

If I buy in bulk, how long will they last? I have 3 babies going through roughly 60 a night. I know once they get older they will be fed only 3x a week and not every day...any suggestions?

Thanks

uh... uh oh. I recently ordered contract crickets from flukers... what's wrong with them? I've ordered from them before and they arrive mostly dead in the winter but in the summer they seem fine. I need something similar to contract crickets where you receive a small amount every week. I can't keep a thousand crickets alive long enough to feed to a single gecko... are there any recommended companies with similar contracts?

There's a long thread about Fluker's on f a u n a c l a s s i f i e d s . c o m.

Then I guess there's no other good companies with contracts?

I used to get worms too before I started my own colony.
