Shedding problem or not?

cylt69 Aug 24, 2004 10:04 AM

I have a very young veild, he had his first shed since i've had him and possible his first shed ever just recently. He pretty much got it all off except on his head, i helped a little. The skin was loose no effort was needed just a little nudge, but he has small pieces still on the corners of his head (on that V shaped ridge above their eyes). They are just specs about the size of a pin head. Should i worry? I mist his enclosure twice a day and have a drip system

Keep misting and give it a few days. After that I'd take it off myself. I'll bet they'll come off within a few days.

I would not remove any skin still attached unless it is wrapped around some part of him cutting off circulation. little specks will happen...it will come off in a day or two no need to worry.
