i have a Schneiders Skink, who is about 6-7" long, i don't know what to make his cage look like, should it have sand in it? i know he loves to burrow. what else can/should i decorate it with? i have a 20g long that i could use.....but i have no idea what to do with it, right now he is in a tank with some calcium sand on the bottom, and a water dish buried in the sand....
what should his diet be like? when i feed him i usually get him just crickets, and put some calcium dust on them, but the dust ceoms right off the crickets, so he isn't getting much if that....i give him 2 big meal worms every other feeding....also how many crickets should i be buying at a time, and how much do i offer him? also how many times a week should he be fed? i usually buy a bunch of crickets and throw them in his cage, and let him eat them at his leisure, i don't buy too many, since i want him to eat them before they die
