Feeding number 3, mouse. She got a baby rabbit last week. I put in a defrosted baby rabbit and mouse in her rubbermaid next to each other, she took the rabbit. No idea what to make of that. She got a freshly killed mouse today, successful feeding 3/3 - im very happy.
I figure ill start handling her now (in a few days obviously.) Any ideas on how i proceed. Ive never had anything so small that really hates me (i love her though) that i want to handle. Obviously think leather gloves but how do i know how much is to much? I mean i can see her hyperventilating if i get to close to her. Can hyperventilating harm her or will 10-20 minutes of it make no difference? Im used to Boas. My burm was easy to handle as well, thought he was nearly 2 feet when i started handling him. Had to get rid of him sadly. Retarded danish goverment made them illegal.
You can clearly see the bumb on her. Sorry for the lousy picture quallity. I took it in a hurry because as i mentioned she hates - i think ill name her after my ex-girlfriend actually.
Anyway enjoy and sorry for the rant.
