one side of cage

My ball python usually likes to stay on one side of the cage. Is this normal or does he just like one side better?

Is it the warm side or the cool side? If it's the cool side, turn down the temps on the warm side. If it's the warm side, turn up the temps on the cool side. A-yup.

Also, make sure you have a hide box on both sides, so your snake dont have to be in the open if it gets too hot or too cold.
