Project - Breeding Black Trees

RoadSpawn Aug 24, 2004 02:15 PM

Hello
Well I now have an adult pair of Black Trees. They are both long term captives acquired from different vendors and currently housed in different set ups. The male will take small mice from tongs and is very active and in plan view most of the day. The female is only interested in mealworms so far but will eat in my presence. She is active throughout the day and doesn't seem shy.
I first want to make sure they are eating machines before housing them together. Just thought I'd share.
Robert

Hey Robert, it's good to hear that you have them separated and are making sure that they are both eating strong and are healthy prior to introducing them.. I wish you the best of luck to you with them, as I would love to see some banded baby beccari in the future... Don't take your eyes off the female-don't let her condition weaken at all!!!That is my advice to you... Once again, best of luck, take care,

bob
