You get what you pay for with Jungles and I wouldnt really expect to find a screamer for 150, let alone less. I would advise checking around with different breeders. I am picky and only like to settle for the best there is, and I end up paying the price for it but in the end its worth it.
I agree that won't buy much...maybe a higher yellow jungle, but no true screamer... save your pennies if you want the best. Add another hundred and talk to some of the big boys if you want better odds at a screamer.

Screamers are really nice specimens.

ok now i understand exactly what i want. i no longer care about the price. these are some of the most pretty snakes i've ever seen and now want a jaguar hypo carpet python the one that turns bright yellow when it gets older. maby even two to breed. anyone know where i can get the best care sheet info around? if i invest in breeding these snakes i want them to be extreamly happy. will local pet shops buy the hatchlings? also will the same two snakes need to keep breeding or does the female just store the sperm and use it over and over? can a pair be kept togeather indefinatly or do they get aggressive twards each other? also how long do the eggs incubate?? and who is the best breeder to aquire a breeding pair from? i want small ones so they can grow up togeather.
Slow down there chief...
"these are some of the most pretty snakes i've ever seen and now want a jaguar hypo carpet python the one that turns bright yellow when it gets older. maby even two to breed."
Got $10,000 for that pair plus freight from Europe or plane tickets to Daytona?
"anyone know where i can get the best care sheet info around?"
There isn't much in the way of caresheets for coastals out there. Min 4'x2'x2' for a cage. Moderate humidity around 60-70% and 75 - 85 - 90 temps for night - ambient - basking. Newspaper or cypress mulch for substrate. Something to climb on and a hide and they should be happy.
"if i invest in breeding these snakes i want them to be extreamly happy. will local pet shops buy the hatchlings?"
Well considering the price I would say no, but I'm sure if you suceed you can sell them on the classified here.
"also will the same two snakes need to keep breeding or does the female just store the sperm and use it over and over?"
They need to be bred every year. (you got some studying to do first)
"can a pair be kept togeather indefinatly or do they get aggressive twards each other?"
They should be housed seperately reguardless.
"also how long do the eggs incubate??"
around 55-60 days.
"and who is the best breeder to aquire a breeding pair from?"
Two places only as of now.

$10,000??? how could that be possible?? i was thinking around $250-$300 but 10 g's damn that's crazy. i don't got that much cash. maby a regular jungle carpet is the one for me......really you ain't joking there are snakes out there that are worth over a G damn that is amazing. hybrids are worth that much? well i'll keep you all posted as to what i decide and if you want keep on posting with any and all info on breeders, care, morphs, and any other stuff.
What do you mean, jaguars are not hybrids. They are a pure coastal morph.

.
oops my mistake. i don't know the correct terminology now that i think about it a morph is a random mutation and a hybrid is a mix of two different subspecies right? it's been a while since science class. i'm still curious about that whole $10,000 thing. i went to the jaguar website and they have $350 for a hypo jaguar carpet so how do they even come close to 10,000? also i'm curios as to would a regular jaguar carpet who breeds with another jaguar ever create any hypo jaguars? and also where can i learn all the techniques to breed them? thanks for any and all info.
Those aren't the Jaguars you saw the price of. The Normal patterned sibling of the Hypo Jaguars are $350 a pop. The Hypo Jags themselves are 'price upon request'.

man that sucks. awww hell i don't need to be spending all my cash on a snake anyway. so F*ck it.
what do you believe is the better snake?? the coastal carpet or the jungle?
anyone know of a carpet python breeder close to california?
If you liked the look of Jungles, I'd say go with them. They are smaller and tend to be flashier. Or even a JunglexDiamond are neat looking. If you want pictures visit the old Carpet Python forum.
I know LLL Reptiles carries jungles and Jungle crosses from time to time.

but don't coastals get alot bigger? i like big snakes. i figure if i can't get the best colord one a regular colord one will just make me want the one i can't have.
is there any differences in the behavior of the two types?
Not really. Each snake's temperment is individually diffrent. My coastals range from completely tame(not even tail or head shy!), to bites me 11 times before I can blink.
You CAN get a nice colored snake if you want. Its just something your going to have to investigate, and find out who has stock you like, where they are located, and for how much.
And please don't just pick up a coastal just because 'you like big snakes'. That sends chills up my spine!!! For the sake of the animal and yourself PLEASE get something that fits you abilities and means. These snakes do get big and can be difficult to find homes for if your unsatified.
believe me i can take care of any snake that i buy. i'm not the type to buy a $200 snake just so i can watch it die. when i was about ninish my mom bought me a chinese water dragon and never told me anything about it at all except that it needs water crickets and it's 10 gallon tank. i figured out everything myself and i still have her. i'm 18 now and as a fitting punishment for my ignorence draca has a nasty mouth rot scar that ate part of her jaw past her nostrils and is only two feet long cause of my unknowing lack of uvb light. but now she is living lavish in her custom built 4'x3'x3' inclosure with a six foot uvb bulb diagnel across the back of the tank and i have a pile of about 55 eggs proof of her radient health. believe me i will NEVER mistreat another animal through ignorence again. she servs as a living reminder that all pets deserve to be cared for properly no matter your financial situation. and if i coulden't afford to buy all the things needed to provide for a pet than i woulden't be trying to choose one. but i still don't know if i want a snake or a monitor. i'm torn. my animal breeding fix will be met through caecilians so my only real choice is between a black throat monitor or a coastal carpet python. torn.
You're really not guaranteed a screamer even if it's from exceptional parentage. It is more likely, but not guaranteed. I would suggest contacting Matt Turner or Will Leary. I'm not sure of their prices, but they'll probably have some very nice jungles available this year. There's some other breeders out there with nice jungles, like Adam Willich, but I don't know if they'll have any jungles available this year.
