As far as I know the pearl was wild caught so you never know what will come out if it. I will be interesting to see what happens when bred to a norm...

I figured it was wild....and looked like it does now when caught....

that's what I mean...did it have a yellow stripe and it got darker pigments as it grew?...it was out in real sunlight maybe...*( probably a cage in Africa>?)......

look at albino turtles..they get greenish and darker pigments as they grow.....so maybe this form of ?"leucistic" looking ball made it's own pigments as it grew too?.....

maybe not..maybe a new morph.......maybe white smoke?.....maybe a super of something else?....

we'll see....HURRY UP Brian..........!!!!!!LOL

....have fun ........JY

What is that? I thought that Pastel x Cinny was the pewter?? I've heard that pastel siblings are supposed to be brighter than regular normals, so what's this amber pastel? a pastel sibling cinny or something? Does anybody understand what happened there yet?

Thanks for the help,
Bristen.

Amir actually produced that from an animal that is supposed to be a cinnamon....I think his own line of them? Who said all offspring from these two genes had to be the same?

right.. so I guess what that means is that not every line of cinnamon pastel will produce pewters.. how interesting.. there are at least 3 lines of cinnamon pastels that produced pewters that I can remember.. I believe Graziani (the first one), Ralph Davis and did not Camlon Reptiles produce one also? There must be others that I'm forgetting... Interesting that some cinnamon pastels are not compatible..

Anyways, thanks for the reply.
Bristen.
