No. Not if I understand your question properly. Indonesia is very far from N. Vietnam. If your snake is from Indonesia, it would likley be a cave rat, 'ridleyi'. If it is a blue beauty snake I would just call it that, because it is probably CB and not from N. Vietnam either. If the ancestors of your snake were from N. Vietnam I would be surprised too. Although the range of the blue beauties is rather undefined, I don't think it extends into N. Vietnam, or at least not far at all. The ssps, Orthriophis t. yunnanensis, does range into the mtns. of N. Vietnam. Your snake could also be this ssps, or a cross bt. a Yunnan and a blue beauty. If you'd like more opinions on your snake you should post a pic where we can see the pattern and head, and scale counts would help too. Good luck.

>>This is my first time posting. I bought my snake under the name of vietnamese blue beauty. I recently moved and brought the snake to the reptile shop the guy there said he had never heard of a vietnamese blue beauty and said it was an Indonesian beauty snake. Is it the same thing?
