I'm trying to borrow a "friend's friend's" camera for a little while, it's a digital and I can upload the pics without the use of film or anything like that.

Hey we all do w/ what we've got.
I wouldnt bother w/ the Mavica either unless you really want/need to use 3.5" disks as I do. Seriously, Ill bet todaze cellphones take better pics than both of our cameras. Glad to hear youve a wad of freezers cuz its along time till next summer in your end of the world! I wouldnt hibernate it either unless you run it out of food & then give it 4 weeks to fully purge prior to cooling.
