Albino question

miki00 Aug 24, 2004 06:13 PM

I fell kind of ignorant asking this, but why does an Albino Ball Python grows bigger than a regular Ball Python? And with what kind of ball (albino, hypo, etc..) should i breed a normal one so i can get albino babies?

1.0 Ball Python (Python Regius)
0.0.1 Brazilian Rainbow Boa (Epicrates Cenchria Cenchria)
1.0 Veiled Chameleon (Chamaleo Calyptratus)

2.0 Emperor Scorpions (Pandinus Imperator)
0.0.1 Sinaloan Milksnake (Lampropeltis Triangulum Sinaloae)

balls are balls....they are all the same size.....actually ,,through all the inbreeding over time...they are getting smaller..not bigger........

you cannot breed a normal ball to anything to get an albino...

you breed an albino to a normal to get 100% hets..then breed them back to the albino to get half hets and half albinos.....

.......het to het or albino to het......gives albinos.....

good luck'

Got the albino genetics, thanks.
Then... What is the normal Albino Python? I've seen many Albino Pythons that are about 10 feet in lenght, but they are not burmese nor reticulated. They just call it Albino Python, as far as i know.

At 10 ft. I would have to guess it was an albino burm.

Albino to Albino = albinos, Albino to het albino= hets and albinos, Albino to normal = het for albino. If you want to see albinos the first time around spend the money and just start off with 1.1 albinos
