You must be talking about fire and ice dragons and they are just using that term like fire is describeing thier red dragons and ice is describeing thier snow and leusistic or "white" dragon

I think you're talking about morphs.

Like Robert said, if you're referring to Fire & Ice Dragons, they use the terms fire and ice to categorize their morphs, but those aren't the morph names. Just in case you're still curious about the answer to your question, here's my take on the whole morph and color business.

A morph can be really anything the breeder wants to call it, unless it is of direct lineage from another established morph, or a genetic mutation such as an albino or hypomelanistic. I could get a few orange dragons from one breeder and a few yellow dragons from another, breed them, and call the offspring "Orange Soda." Now orange soda is a morph. If these people have some nice white dragons and want to call them Ice, they can. I don't think there's such thing as a "fake" morph, maybe poorly represented or mislabeled, but that's another story.

There is also the question of whether or not there is such thing as a "true" leucistic dragon. Many people seem to agree that beardies labeled leucistic are really just exceptionally white hypomelanistic dragons with clear nails, but by definition are not "true" leucistic. I don't know, I'm no expert on that, just thought it should be thrown out there.

Anyways, whether it's all real or not, a name is a name. Unless you're interested in getting a very specific morph for breeding purposes (in which case you should already know what you are looking for), just pick one you like. Who cares if it's "real" or not, as long as you like it.
