'New' Red female acclimating nicely!

ghireptiles Aug 24, 2004 10:13 PM

This is an animal I got about two months ago. She is an import that is currently feeding on two adult mice every week. I think after another two sheds she will be nothing less than spectacular. I am trying to aquire enough true red animals so I can come up with my new 'redamazons.com' website! I think I have a long way to go LOL!

This is a close-up (obviously) but I wanted to show the intensity of the eyes! At 4' I think she should be ready next season!

keep posting these red amazon photos. would love to see the new ones you acquire over the next several months.

I agree to that statement lol. I REALLY need a patternless red : )

Nice! True reds do indeed seem to be hard to find. Especially older animals. Patternless reds are even fewer and farther between. This young adult male is the best I can do in the red department. Although his eyes are silver he would still make a terrific mate for that redish calico female you posted a few days ago... Hmmm...
