cb texas horned lizards

hey, i've got 6 day old texas horned lizards. just wondering when i should expect them to start eating. all are extremely healthy and very energetic. please give me any info you may have. thanks

They usually start to eat 2 to 3 days after hatching. At their very small size they need to eat both in the mourning and evening.Offer many small vitamin dusted crickets as well as ants. The new mini mealworms Tenebrio obscurus (link below) also work really well.

will the newly hatched lizards be able to eat the mini meal worms? just wondering if they're too big or not. i just ordered 1000 pin head crickets so that should keep me for awhile. thanks for the info and i'll put some pictures up in a day or two.

The ones you order from that site aren't your standard mealworm, they are much smaller. My hatchlings don't have any problems eating them.
