It certainly can be a very serious thing as it's incredibly stressful for a baby boa, or any boa for that matter, to regurge.
I'm guessing you were feeding him either mice or rat fuzzies at that size. How long after did he puke?! It could be from too much heat, too little heat, or potentially from the way you're thawing your feeders out (I just recently ran into this).
Without knowing why your boa regurged and assuming that all of your environmental constraints are accurate... I suggest you wait 14 days from the date of the regurge before you feed again.
At that time offer him the smallest mouse that you can find... pre-killed if he will take it. Then wait another 14 days before feeding him again. This time feed him another small mouse. If he has gone without incident to this point you can resume a normal feeding regiment.
