Housing breeding balls...

leoking182 Aug 25, 2004 10:38 AM

I was planning on getting some ball maybe like a 1.2 (HET FOR ALBINO) I want an easy simple housing technique, I was thinking about under bead boxes, but those are probably to small, or am I just going to have to stick with aquariums and homeade cages? Thanks for any help possible.

you can use breeder rack systems... that use sterlite bins as enclosures... porb you best bet if your going to be housing a number of balls at any point...

Racks work well.

If you want a showcage Neodesha/Vision cages make excellent enclosures, although very pricey.

In the past, I have used aquariums, actually pretty cheap, crack in it makes it worthless to one person, makes a perfect herp home to me, lol. My friend is gettin my butt back into of custom built cages. Custom built, I have to agree are by far the best out there, and rubbermaid enclosures are right up there! Custom built allows you to build your own environment to suit your herps needs, and of corse constructed right, can be stackable, a useful feature . All a herp needs are the basics, fresh water, abuntant temps, hides and a temp gauge. Clips wounld't hurt either. To keep it simple, BP's are one type of snake that can be safely housed on newspaper.

I, myself still usin aquariums still I get to Home Depot. Male, who is rather large is 4ft an bein housed in a 55 g. The female is 40 in and bein house in a 20 L. I'm breeding mine to
Good luck,
