i tried breeding mealworms in a ten gallon tank with some oatmeal as bedding and i gave em potatoes and carrots.about 10 out of 50 survived and turned into beetles.my question is y didnt they lay any eggs and why did so many die?
where can i buy roaches to feed my gecko and will the leo eat it readily or will it have ot get used to it? thansk 4 the help.....
If you have beetles they will lay eggs. Give it a few weeks and you will see very tiny mealworms. Put some cut uo carrots in with them.Carrots dont rot the just dry up..I thought all mine died now i have like a few 1000 mealworms.
