very concerned!!!

One of my baby res has like redish, brown spots on its belly. I am not sure if that means he is growing, or something is wrong with him. They just started to appear about a couple of days ago. I have seen other turtles in ponds by my house, and they also have this redish tint. I am not sure what exactly it is, but any advice would help. Thank you

what kind of food are you feeding it? The pellets i feed have a large amount of red in them. I use Nutrafin Max gammorus turtle pellets. Their plastron has somewhat of a redish tint. They're on their 2nd or 3rd year, and seem quite healthy. I don't know if that helps.
