How to find (NOT paradox) albino het-snow kenyans...?

Silvergrin Aug 25, 2004 03:02 PM

I'm looking for a very specific snake; a male albino het-snow kenyan sand boa. Or possibly a male and a female. But it seems really hard to find something so specific! I guess a lot of people avoided albinos 'cause they're "impure"? Paradox albinos aren't of course, but personally I'm not interested in those.

I have 5 anery kenyans het snow, but they're all siblings so I'd like to get an albino het snow to breed with them some day If I were still in California I could probably just find some at a show, but I'm in Baltimore now and the shows here are pretty small, and there don't seem to be many people specializing in KSBs. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Or if you've got 'em I'm happy to hear from you too Also, what's a reasonable price for an albino? For a snow? (er, for reference, I consider $50 reasonable for an anery KSB and $35-40 reasonable for a normal KSB)

Thanks for looking!

The Mid-Atlantic reptile show (MARS) is in less than a month (Sept 18-19) at the MD State Fair grounds in Timmonium. I purchased an albino het snow kenyan there last year from Mark Bell for somewhere between $100-150, can't remember off the top of my head. There were several other vendors there who had them as well. MARS is far bigger than the normal MD show, you should definitely check it out!
