Anyone in the Louisville area?

billcherep Aug 25, 2004 03:07 PM

I am moving to Louisville area. Any opinions on the shows in the area? I will be breeding my pastels together next year and hope to be able to get rid of a couple there. Any breeders in the area? Thanks

-Bill

I live in Indianapolis, about two hours north of Louisville. Of the general area, you have three shows to choose from . Shelbyville Kentucky show, about thirty minutes east of Louisville. A fairly small show. Then there is Columbus Ohio Show (three hours away). It's the grand daddy of them all. Been going on for many, many years. A nice cross section of herps and vendors to choose from. And lastly, the Indianapolis show (two hours away). Again, a show that has been around for ten, fifteen years.
I don't personally know of any Ball python keepers in the Louisville area, but I can give you a contact name and phone number for the Kentuckiana Herp Society, maybe they can feel you in. Drop me a line at thebigsquease@aol.com
