What are some aspects outside a Ball Pythons enclosure that could stress them out... ?

louiec Aug 25, 2004 03:55 PM

other than providing the right temperature, the right size enclosure, food, etc etc... what are some other aspects that might stress out a ball python ?
Loud music ?, vibration from loud stereo system, too much traffic in front of the enclosure, being in a high traffic area ? etc etc...

I am curious to find this out... so that I can not only provide my 1st ball a proper enclosure... but a proper room to strive in !

Yes, loud music, vibration from loud stereo system, too much traffic in front of the enclosure, and being in a high traffic area are all problems that could stress out your snake. Also, too much handling, too few hide boxes, cat biting snake, dog licking snake, 2 year old child dragging snake by tail, etc.

"a 2 year old dragging the python by the tail... OH BOY !"

I hope I never see that ... lol
