boa shaking head side to side

MyLeftArm Aug 25, 2004 04:18 PM

Hi, I think i read a post awhile ago from someone saying their boa shook his head from side to side a few times in a row.; But the post was probably not called that... I think they called it "My boa did something strange" which doesn't help a bit in finding it again!
So, what were the reasons people gave for head shaking, other than your boa has learned to just say NO! ?

I remember and I replied that it just was shaking his head because it didn't like being touched there, I also have had a recent experience with a similar action but it seemed more retarded than just saying no, I beleive it was dew to high temperatures during shipping, all three animals were doing it when I opened the package, which I was not pleased with but after a couple of days they seemed to stop doing that.

hope that helps

thanks for your reply, and for remembering the topic!
I thought maybe my guy was doing it b/c he was maybe loosening his skin for shed. he is blue right now. His humidity is usually around 50 percent. i will check levels just in case. thanks!
