I have 1.3 Rhino Igs that will be breeding next season. Since they are all recently aquired, they are all in quarantine for at least 90 days. while I am waiting for that time to pass, I am going to build new outdoor housing. I was under the impression that Rhinos are terrestrial, yet when I picked up the two latest ones, they were in a cage 8' high and 6'square. They were both perched up high on hanging logs 7' up.
My question is, do I need to provide them an arborial atmosphere with high spots to climb and bask 94'-5' off tthe ground)? and for a group cage, how large should it be? I am planning on sectioning it off in the event they need to be seperated and then allow for the addition or removal of dividers.
Any photos of your setups would be appreciated.
