HEY ALL! JUST DROPPING BY TO SAY HELLO! (off topic)

IGUANA JOE Jun 24, 2003 10:02 PM

Wow..... I haven't posted or chatted with you guys in a long time! Must admit I missed ya!

I've been busy with music lately. Wrote some songs and started to record some stuff with a few friends. But I do wanna get back into my little "iguanid family" soon!

Still no plans of getting an iguana soon... and still kinda undecided between green or blue caiman. I'm a fan of both!

Today I saw at a petstore (they're good guys tho, dont worry, LOL) the cutest desert iguana, and the chubbiest and coolest Chuck ever! I was this close to bring one of them home. Very cool those chucks! But sometimes cute and cuddly doesn't cut it for me. I like the "don't touch me or I'll kick your @$$" attitude larger iguanas can have, hehehehehe.....

Anyways... sorry for the off-topic post, but I had to drop by and post a little something and to say "hello!". Soon enough I'll be back posting thoughtful and/or idiotic topics on this forum. LOL

Special salutations to PHFaust and Jiffy!

c-ya 'round,

Missed ya in chats. It's been busier than heck here. We're at 24 Green Iguanas now, 4 rescues in the last 4 weeks, all with fairly serious health issues. I lost Doonie, my 9 year old Cuban Rock female, to egg peritonitis a few weeks ago. It happened terribly fast, literally overnight, and I miss her so much. She was my bed sleeper.

On a brighter note, I can see your attraction to the Chucks. I've always wanted a Chuck and have a breeder who's willing to give me one when I'm ready. That may be a while since I have 2 other new additions here. A very generous friend gifted me with two 10 week old Egyptian Uromastyx!! They are adorable and doing well, eating like pigs.

I delivered Danzig (Cyclura hybrid) to Cindy and she's doing well. Cindy says she'll have to freeroam her since she escapes her cage on a daily basis! LOL The intelligence of the Cyclura makes for interesting keeping.

Hope to see you around more. Good luck with the music. Send me a sample!
