I noticed my female leo piling sand inside a hide tonight. I let her go at it for a while, and then checked.
Sure enough...two eggs.
So now what? I placed them in a deli cup with moistened spaghnum moss, and covered. There are some air holes. And I placed the cup in my herp room. Temps are in the high 70's-low 80's.
The eggs look kind of deflated. Thick skinned, but sorta deflated. And seem to be chalky bright white. Not too too bad, but enough to be concerned.
NOTE...these are my first eggs.I was planning on expanding my leo group, and then investing in an incubator. But my 1.1 group got a head start on me.
What do the fertilized eggs look like? And am I on the right track so far as trying to get these eggs to hatch?
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks
Bob
