Hibernation

What are the "symptoms" of Pac-Man hibernation, so to speak? My frog dissappeared one day, and I found her lying underneath some moss, and partially buried underneath the clay rocks at the bottom of her terarrium as well. Do they close their eyes? Because hers are. Is the moss she's lying under just bothering her, so she closes her eyes? Shame, because I stocked up on food... If she is, in fact hibernating, how long will it last?

i doubt it is hibernating, pac mans have been know to bury themselves for weeks at a time, they will resurface when hungry

If she is brumating, which is totally possible, it can last for a month or longer possibly. The frog will burrow down, shut the eyes, and form an opaque looking mucous cocoon which will seal in moisture. If you want her to wake back up, just mist her continuously and rather well for a few days. Sometimes they will just brumate for a week or so and then come back. A plus to brumation is that my frogs seem to feed better after brumating.

She's still got her eyes closed, so I'll just assume she is "brumating". Thanks a lot.
