Anyone have a new copy of "North American Watersnakes, A Natural History" by J Whitfield Gibbons? It goes for around $50. Just wondering if you think it's worth it.

...and it is co-authored by Whit Gibbons and Michael Dorcas. It has got TONS of information backed up by an immense bibliography. The color plates are great too.

I got it for $39.95 from Barnes and Nobles. Search around and you should be able to get it cheap.

It sure is. It was published in May after 6 years of preparation. A lot of work went into the book and it really shows.

I got it on sale at Barnes and Nobles well over a month ago. I guess the sale ended.
