Daytona 2004

Thought I would post this for those who wisely stayed home and now think it was a bad idea and you missed something. This was across the street from my hotel. The folks at the Addams Mark had it a bit easier as the eye passed a bit south (I was south) and it was a much bigger building (it was much more exciting in a smaller edifice). I surmize that a tornado hit the seaside of my hotel and then went up Atlantic taking out the business pictured and the entire block beyond. I make this assumption based on the atypical damage in my area and the strange things I saw out the window (when I was not hiding in the bathroom). I still cannot believe that the glass wall in my room survived, wish I could post a pic of the endless green lightning. My heart goes out to those further south, cannot imagine what it was like. I will put up more on the WEB site when we get the non-digital pics back from the drug store.

Did pick up a Cb cyrtodactylus there so not a total loss.
Could use some info on them if you have the time...
