Has anyone bought snakes online? How easy is it to sell snakes online?
I've bought a few on line but prefer to see it in person before buying. However if I can't find what I want localy or at a show I will spend the money on line. I've never tried to sell any on line I just wait to do a local show to sell.

Thanks Bry. Iwas thinking about selling two red tails that i took in a couple of months ago. They are going to get too big for my taste. They are just babies now but.... you know.
Thanks man
I have purchased several snakes from the boa classifieds from several dealers and breeders and have even hooked up with people who were advertising in my state to buy the snakes in person.
Just gotta watch who you deal with , ask lots of questions and if in doubt ask for refferances..

I would hope that a more basic service supplied here is giving people the chance to learn all about the Boas and other animals so that posts like the one above ' I got rid of them because they got too big' or ' they need to much care' and so on become things of the past..
We do a lot of showing off in here, and some wrangling but if we're not about education on these subjects we should pack it in!
Just my early morning opinion..

While I do agree with your statement, but I think that in order for snakes to get the best home/treatment/care someone interested in purchasing the animal should be well informed not only in the education of snakes, but the work, time and size that they can potentually get. Maybe that way we would see less snakes being abondoned or "let go"
Just a thought....
I have bought and sold here many times with good success. I have dealt with many people that I have not met, so far all is good. In turn there are many people that have dealt with with me that have not met me either. I think it is a "my word is my bond thing". You have to have integrity in what you are doing/selling and represent the animals for what they are. Sure you have to look out for the "crack pots" but this is why we have this forum. To help educate each other. I don't think there is anything wrong with shooting someone an e-mail saying "watch out for this guy" in private. Ask questions, ask for pictures, and ask opinions. It's all good! and with that , "MY WORD IS MY BOND'
