Species clarification

joeycoco98 Aug 25, 2004 11:36 PM

I am considering adding a gopher snake to my collection. From wht I have read, the only difference between a Pine, Bull and Gopher is the region of North America each originates. Can someone clarify this for me?

Thanks in advance,
Miller

It's probable that they are all decendants of a common ancestor and as they spread throughout North America they developed slightly different camo, size, and facial features.
Even though they come from different places, their caresheets read pretty much the same.

Thank you very much for the insight. I really think I will get one of these before to long.

Thanks,

We have a gopher snake and are very happy with him. Everyone around here calls them bull snakes. They are quite common in our area (eastern Arizona desert) and have nice markings.
