Mickey_TLK Aug 26, 2004 01:20 AM

Sorry to keep posting on this, but I have the sales lady coming tommorow to speak about the commercial. I have two versions I feel are pretty good, and would like you guys to give me a quick vote.

Version 6

Version 7

VERSION 7 COMMERCIAL

Please let me know what you guys think. Would theese work with a voice over, and music? Do you think Im better off doing a regular pet shop style commercial? Any input would be appreciated.

some kind of light background music, maybe with a jungle theme and a narrator would work in my opinion, but they look very cool even as they are

I think they are both good. I would defently put some background music and nararate(sp?) all the text. Most people are lazy and won't read the text, plus it will reinforce it for the poeple that do.

At the end of comm7 you could do something as each frame changes like "Remeber, the, lizard, king"

I would love to see them but, when I click them on I get frozen up. use your best judgement and listen to the people. best of luck.

I think what you have is fine, but not for the whole commercial, maybe for a few seconds at the beginning or end, maybe both. I also think you need to have some store photos or videos with people in the store holding and looking at animals, and not stuff that excits us but excites, small kids and families.

I liked the beginning/end of 6. 7's middle was very good with the poison arrow frogs. If I had to pick one over the other I guess it'd be 7. Either way they are good spots.
Good Luck-

It was rather clear to me that #7 was the better of the two, but never hurts to ask opinions.

At this point were going to go for it, and see what happens. Once I get the voiceover, and music added I will post the finished product.

As to this compaired to kingsnake.com banners. To me its not the same thing at all. Im not really trying to advertise to "herpers" or the national market. Im trying to drive in new customers to the shop. Im also trying to set myself aside from the other "competition" IN TOWN. At some point I may very well add a ks banner rotation, but Im haveing a hard enough time keeping up with my classified account, and store. If I get more web business I may need a.....GULP....employee. And at this time thats the last thing I want. Im not a very "trusting" person.

Well they are both nice, but you might want to spell the street name right on the last screen of the first clip. You spelled it "Doge"

Sure like the sunglow in them ! woohoo!! :O

Good luck with it Mickey!
