Anyone with a pillbug colony going or tiny roaches?

trinacliff Aug 26, 2004 09:34 AM

Hey everyone...I was wondering if anyone has an established pillbug colony going since that is the only way I can figure out how to get teeny tiny pillbugs to feed to my baby Merus. I've been told they love them, and I want to start varying their diet some. Also, that is breeding roaches...anyone have any teeny ones? Of course, I would pay for them and shipping.

Thanks!

Kristen

I'm trying to get one going...i have a rubbermaid storage tower with one large drawer filled with compost and leaf litter wth a piece of decaying wood in there, they feed on the compost. I don't see any reproduction yet but theyre all still alive.

you should try to get some adult lobster roaches, they reproduce fast and the young ones are tiny.
