w/c juvenile Corn ate a skink!!

i caught a juvenile Corn about 2 months ago. i've been trying to feed him pinkies and fuzzies to no avail. well, the other night i tried something just to see what would happen. i have a couple five-lined skinks that i use for scenting with some of my other snakes like Scarlet Kings and Mole Kings. i put the Corn in with the lizard and he immediately grabbed it! after he ate that he finally took 2 fuzzies for me. was it just that i needed to stimulate his appetite a little? has anyone else had this kind of thing happen? just curious.

I misread your title and thought it said "ate a skunk." I thought, "Now, this I gotta hear about!"

one of my favorite lizards to use for scenting and jump starting a non feeder is the little ground skink.
A lot of areas don't have anoles but do have an abundance of skinks so I think this work just as well and sometimes better.
