Nope... Gerbils have an almost 6 week cycle where rats can have about 3 weeks... when I say 6 weeks I mean.. the female will get pregnant.. have a litter 3 weeks later..She may get pregnant again immediately however she'll delay implantation of those young until her present litter is weaned...then she'll have another 3 weeks on the other side of that.. before she has another litter. (Trust me.. I've been raising gerbils for 10 years... rats are the way to go for breeding feeders) plus.. Gerbils only have between 3 and 6 young normally making it very unworth the wait...and with your snakes needing to eat double or triple of them.. you won't get the output you need.
