pic of a female with eggs...

This is one of our three-year-old het-albino blood pythons around her first clutch of eggs.

This girl is going through her color transformation to become a red morph. Right now she’s in her “orange phase” but give her another year and she’s going to be a knockout red morph blood python.

how many good eggs, slugs, etc...
And how many days after she shed , did she lay???

My femmes going on her 40th day, since her pre lay, and she looks like she is about to explode.
Is this a good thing?

BTW, Congrats!

... but it's pretty unlikely that she'll explode. We've had bloods go 45 days between shedding and laying and we know of cases when it was 50 days. The differences in duration in most cases appear to us to be a matter of temperature.

The female in the picture laid 30 days after shedding and laid 13 fertile eggs and no slugs.
