Not exactly a ratsnake, but figured I'd share anyway...

I've had nothing really to report on the ratsnake front, other then MY ALBINO CHINESE BEAUTY IS A FLIPPIN' MALE!!! Unless females are supposed to probe 6-7ish scales, its a fricken male.. I was really pissed off.. I have an albino and het.. Males.. arrggg

I did also find my escapee holdback Taiwan from this years clutches..

So the meaning of this post.. I picked up 1.1 Eastern blackneck garters from Casey Lazik, with the help of a friend.. He posted an add on kingsnake for them, just as I was leaving for 2 weeks to herp in Arizona.. Ain't that always the way.. And Casey doesn't like to hold stuff for people, so a friend of mine bought 2 pair, 1 for her, and 1 for me to hold til I got back.. Nice of her.. So I finally got a species i've ALWAYS drooled over..

That's some amazing foreshortening in that first pic. Beautiful garter snake too.
