summer trips

crotaphytusfan Aug 26, 2004 01:05 PM

If anybody is interested in going on some collecting trips for collareds let me know. I'm already planning some for yellow heads in utah and some bicinctores as well. And the grand finale next summer will be a trip through baja california among other places. So if anyone would like to go let me know and we'll plan on it.

I'm interested, but don't have the time for extended trips. I might try the Midland/Odessa area next year, as the Permian Basin oil fields apparently have abundant collared lizards, including bright yellow females from what I hear. I'd most likely just take pics, though. Some people have been known to get 100 collareds PER DAY out there.

You'd sweeten the deal if you handle all the paperwork required for legally collecting, and taking lizards across state and national boundaries.

Also, for infinitescales.com, the word is HOBBYIST.
