Has anyone proven the theory that het pieds have the 2 stripes along the belly? I'm going to be picking up 0.1 66% het that has about a 10inch stripe like this. I have a 100% het male in which I'll be looking to get 50% hets out of this year. Just thought I'd ask. Any information on this subject would be greatly appreshiated!

some have it and some don't. I have 100% het albino girls with the same markings, and they are for sure not het pied. If I were buying PH Pieds, I would get the ones with the marks though.

as far as i know it hasn't been proven yet...but i have a pair of unrelated pythons that i got from local pet shops. so i'll be pairing them up next year and seeing how things go. the male is a nice black back and the female has an almost full striped belly. i'll find out what they can produce in the years to come. good luck with your project there. let us know how it turns out.

One of my 2.0 poss het caramels (brothers) has those bold belly stripes.
