humidity problems and mealworms

cee4 Aug 26, 2004 02:44 PM

It has been so humid here that my mealworm bins are molding. What can I do? I have very tiny mealies at present so changing the bin is impossible. Will it work to just pick out the bigger clumps of mold and just put fresh bran in? I use oatmeal too. I just built this colony up and dont want to lose them as it took forever...Its been so humid I killed half my crickets as well and my cornsnakes tank was soaked...Thanks in advance

Might be an idea to invest in a dehumidifyer and keep it in a room with your cornsnakes, mealies and crickets.
