I own, and have owned many reptiles over the last decade, but never a python. I love the heavy bodied, and just ancient look of pythons... aweseome snakes! Anyways the only thing that scares me a bit is how large these guys get. I know ball's are relatively small in terms of pythons, but since they are very heavy bodied it just seems like they could be a handful transporting anywhere. Could someone upload a picture of a full grown ball python, maybe being held or something, just so I have something to judge the size on...

Also, what is the weight like on a full sized speciman? My worry would just be shipping later on down the road when I move...

Adult size seems to be about 4-6ft. 4ft being the norm. A 4ft ball is smaller then a basketball when balled up. I'll try and get pics of one of my 3 1/2 fters. She's 4lbs. 6-8lbs seems to be max as well.

Here's one from this morning. This male is from Tracy Barker and is 3+ years old. My females are twice his size and weigh in the area of 3000 grams. He's at about 1200 grams. I have two other males that are only slightly larger.
