Cyclophiops semicarinatus: Ryukyu Green Snake

rearfang Aug 26, 2004 03:45 PM

I recently purcased a snake that was sold to me as an Elaphe quadravirgata. I have since found out that though the snake strongly resembles a green phase four lined ratsnake, the snake in question is actually Cyclophiops semicarinatus which lumps it in as a cousin of the giant Chinese green Snake. C. major.

Has anyone got information on this species particularly in the area of diet? I am assuming that like the giant green it feeds on worms.
