i have my veiled in a 38 gallon reptarium (16" 16" 30" i think.)
he is about 6 inches total....last time i measured him was like 3 weeks ago and he is just now starting to hate me and trys to bite.

so i was first wondering when should i move him to a bigger cage....my plan is to wait until i can no longer keep him out side and then set up the indoor cage(2' 2' 4')but is there a serton size i should move before he reaches it?

also i tryed to move him out of the cage using a stick and he bit the stick.....how am i gunna get him out now......im thinking about useing gloves but the only kind i have a masonary gloves witch are like semi think cloth. basicly a sweater on your hand(works like one too)

That size is fine for now. Some people keep chams in that size of a cage their entire lives. I dont recommend it for a veiled though. The 4x2x2 will be great and you dont need a size inbetween either. Move him to the 4x2x2 when he grows a bit more. Also try using a CLEAN oven mit to get him out of the cage. Its not as intimidating and it cant see fingers. He will bite you if he gets the chance - a lot of the time its just show, but they can bite. He doesnt hate u either - just protecting his territory.

Try moving him at night. Even if he wakes up he will be a nice mellow fellow
