Im gonna be moving my 5-6feet boa pair into a 400-450 gallon terrarium - its custome built and not square so im not sure exactly how large but its at least 400 gallons.

Its large with a lot a decent amount of vent area. I was considering getting a fogger/mister to help me keep the humidity at peak. Would also make upping the humidity during shed times easier. Im going with pine shavings (i think thats what its called, english isnt my first language so im not entirely sure thats what its called) because its easy to clean and i cant stand newspaper. I dont believe that will help with the humidity much. Obviously the old waterball under the heat lamp would probably do the trick it might cause a drop during the night.

Anyway, a mister or fogger (whatever you call it) would seem idea however i have heard that larger animals (like adult BCCs) could get the mistified water into their lungs?

Does anyone have any information and/or expirience. It would be very much appriciated. Or even a pointer in the right direction as to who might be able to help me. The stores around here that actually carry the items i want remind you more of monkeys then humans, needless to say they arent much help.

Thanks in advance.

-Daniel.
