ok, i've never owned these guys before (i have other herps though), a buddy of mine was forced to get rid of his two 2.5ft long savs, so i took them in. they are in an outdoor enclosure with a nice little basking area of about 100 degrees, (the tank is about 7ft. by 3ft.) and a sweaterbox for a water dish/tub (they are really good about deficating in it, means i don't have to clean the whole cage!) anyway, on to the point of my post: i'd like a second opinion about the diet i'm feeding them, and any suggestions would be welcome. right now they get whole frozen/thawed mice, f/t pinkies, chicken liver, and chicken hearts and giblets (from the grocery store). the guy said he'd fed them dog food and such too, but i don't really trust doing that, though i have considered a brand that my pet shop carries that's 95% meat. any opinions on my setup, feeding or anything? i just want to make sure i'm caring for them correctly. sorry for the long-windedness, thanks for reading
