does this sound weird

My male panther has been trying to bite me every chance he gets. this started about a week or so ago.
Now that my female has finished laying her eggs today he let me put his food right by him and he even let me touch him
with out fireing up and hissing and trying to bit me. So what do you think, is this some kind of animal thing?

Are they in the same cage?

No but there right next to each other with a blind in between them so they can't see each other

It has nothing to do with the female's laying. Maybe he was stressed by something around his cage, some change in the view or possibly something you were wearing? If he's an adolescent male maybe he was feeling a hormone surge during growth? Chams are very sensitive to visual images and colors.
