I have a group of ornates Im looking at 2.4 that are in new jersey right now and I plan on keeping them outside here in arizona if I buy them.I am wondering is it possible to get them to adapt to the weather here and not kill them doing so?If anyone can help it would be greatly appriciated. Thanks Brandon

Well, if they've adapted to NJ, they should be OK with AZ. I've taken my ornate all over the country with no problems. I house it outdoors in south TX where it gets over 100 degrees, and it's originally from OK where it also gets over 100 degrees. As long as they have places to cool off (mine likes standing water in the shade) the heat shouldn't be a problem. The humidity, or lack thereof, shouldn't be too bad either, but try to provide a moist hide.

If you get overly cautious (like me), you can always bring them indoors when it's over 100 outside.
