I put this male in Cupcakes cage today WHILE HIS WAS GETTING CLEANED...10 minutes later the raw Boa love....No planning, no brumation....go figure.....

I seperated them last night...and it's back to the original plan...they will be cooled in a few weeks, then re-introduced during cooling until she is gravid....

Hahaha, Chris....ya gotta love it, huh? I have a Motley that wants a "woman" so bad, he's humping his water bowl (not really, but almost). It's so sad. I keep telling him "not much longer"....however, he probably can't hear me and doesn't understand the language. He is a pitiful sight wanting out of his enclosure a lot of the time. At least he does rest and is eating, but if I were to put him with a female right now, it would be INSTANT ATTACK

At least you know the male is willing and eager should you decide to pair them.

I wasn't planning on pairing them...but who knows...we get to choose who we have sex with so why can't they...lol.....

LOL... Steve and I have been watching watching all our females who went early march last year roam up and down the length of their tanks alll day and our albino male just as busy roaming and running.... So we just thought we would throw them together and see what would be going on...Same result as above.. a few mintues later he's courting her and rubbing her and the next evening boom.... nothing but loven.... I guess that Steve and I will be haveing another set of 100% hets again, not what the female was scheduled for, but boy did that calm those two down....I hope its always this easy, but i know it wont be...
