first.- my female became gravid a long while ago and she hasn't laid any eggs yet. she is still fat but is beginning to lose her orange spots. might she be reabsorbing or do they lay eggs after they lose thier color?

second.- my male has been staying under his rock quite frequently. i hadn't seen him for a few days so i took him out from under his rock. he ate some food and basked for a while now he is back under his rock. been two days now. should i just let him do his thing or mebbe think about brumation soon?

If the female is losing her orange it could be she is reabsorbing the eggs. I have not had this happen to me but I thought she was losing her colors and then the next day they would be brigher then ever. Maybe she is just cold and you cant see her orange that well.
ABout the male, mine is the same way. Mine stays under a rock and evey couple days will come out to eat. I think he might just be preparing for brumation, but he should be fine until the female is ready too.
