I intend on joining LGCHS, but can't find an active forum where i can talk to local members. Any info is appreciated. I'd like to hear from someone or learn a little something about it before the next meeting.

Great! I am planning on joining the organization at the September meeting. I am fairly new to Herps, owning only 2 Fire-bellied toads and one fire-bellied newt, but I am and always have been interested in most all herps, and am very excited about learning more about them, and hopefully expanding my collection in the future. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

I visit the site pretty much every other day or so just to keep tabs on what is going on, but like you have seen. Not too much daily activity. BUT, you know how that all starts....Welcome to the forum - Hope to hear more from y'all.
