Tail autotomy and regeneration?

they do not regenerate. do not posses those plates in their tails that allow for example an iguana to drop its tail and regenerate i new one.

As for the iguana a lady told me hers once dropped its tail and it never grew back. Same thing for my collared lizards tail regeneration is just unlikely unless at the very tip area.
